It was uneven. The woman who played Anita was the star of the show. McConnell was pretty good, although her comfort level in singing is clearly in her upper range. Hobson seemed miscast. He has a nice voice but not the charisma needed for Tony. It wasn't believable that Maria fell for him in an instant, nor that the Jets would look to him as their backup for the big fight. "Gee, Office Krupke" was a real stand out, as was "America".
