Kasa, you should've seen the scene at my house this afternoon. Singing, hugging, spontaneous cheering, drinking, calling people I hadn't talked to in months--all because of the way a few ping pong balls bounced around. This is what sports are good for--they provide moments of unadulterated joy. Unadulterated misery, too, to be sure, but the point remains.
