Griffey Moves to 9th on All-Time Home Run List, 6th on All-Time Non-Junkie Home Run List

kengriffeyjr.jpgKen Griffey Jr.'s 596th career home run yesterday tied him with Rafael Palmiero for 9th on the official career home run list.

And it moved him into 6th on the career home run list that we all wish was the actual one.

Here it is:

1. Aaron: 755
2. Ruth: 714
3. Mays: 660
4. F. Robinson: 586
5. Killebrew: 573
6. Junior: 569
7. R. Jackson: 563
8. Schmidt: 548
9. Mantle: 536
10. Foxx: 534

Griffey Jr hit 398 of those home runs as a Mariner.

    Fuck this shit Griffey sucks

  • SamJumper

How do you know these guys are clean?

  • Seth

Hard to imagine him getting to 660 with all the injuries, but if some team (THE MARINERS HELLO YOU ASSES!) would just overpay for him to be the DH and keep him off the fucking field, he might get there.

My money is on him hitting around 600 and retiring. I'd be surprised if he gets to Mays.

  • Clint

We certainly do wish that was the actual list.
