The phones lead to your choice of either the Crisis Clinic or 911. My contacts at the clinic indicate there has been some success since the phones were installed.

Last month we were enjoying the northbound 358 bus when the driver braked suddenly because a Seattle cop did a u-turn right in front of him. My companion looked out and saw a guy in a plaid vest running South away from the cops. Fortunately, we proceeded on before he jumped. This was the fellow that landed on power lines and shut down power to Fremont. Poor bastard. But I'm glad we missed seeing him jump.

I was riding my bike across the bridge right as Drunky McDrunkerson was leaning over the rail. He was piss drunk and hollering at the police boats below. He was yelling "Jump!" as if he was telling them to. Confusing to say the least. I saw the school bus stop and the asshole honk too.
