Felix Update UPDATE

According to the Times some doctor man is going to poke around Felix Hernandez's elbow before this afternoon's game, and then talk to the media about what he found.

The game starts at 3:30, which means if you start making this Apple Flan right now, you could know the fate of the season by the time it's ready to serve eight.

UPDATE: Lookout Landing is reporting, "IMPORTANT NOTICE: word from the organization is that Felix's elbow is okay. With that, a weight the size of Jose Vidro has been lifted from our collective back, and once again we can breathe."

KJR is reporting It’s a flexor strain; he will not throw for five days.

If all this is true then PHEW.

I think they are using this guy too much. He has lost a lot of weight..but is still pretty heavy for a young kid. It is not just about pitch count - they should only use him for about 7 innings.

I don't believe them....maybe I'm just pessimistic when it comes to pitchers(I am a Cubs fan...), but I'll be very surprised if he comes back this year and is the force he was turning out to be.
