Seattlest Trivia Tonight: Make Mine Marvel

Last week at Seattlest trivia, fourth-place team The Fookin' As requested Marvel Comics as a theme for a round this week. So if you're coming to the Old Pequliar, bring a comic book geek friend -- or at least skim the Marvel Comics page on Wikipedia.

Also last week, the Fookin' As requested that we consider expanding teams to a maximum of 6 players, rather than 5. Comments were split. So we're going to try an experiment this week: teams can have up to 6 players, but the entry fee tonight will be $1/player instead of $5/team. Note: this is not a permanent change; we'll see how things go before making a permanent decision.

So, the remaining details: the quiz starts at 8:00. Sign-up starts at 7:45. Tables get scarce after 7:00, so you might want to plan on getting to the Old Pequliar early and dining there.

In addition to the Marvel round, expect a geography round, a movies round, and two picture rounds.

Seattlest James is hosting, and he's tired of having the top teams score 70+ points. Expect difficulty.
