...But There Is Such a Thing as a Free Brunch

irhposter.jpg"I don't know much about these heart rummages," a friend said recently. "You go to them though, right?"

And we havegone to them. Once. And it's been at least 18 months, since we were non-parents at the time. And we really liked it, so we're not sure exactly why we haven't been back, but back we haven't been. We didn't even realize it'd been taken over by Urban Craft Uprising, a local crafter event that we have been to within recent memory.

So what's getting us off our lazy asses this Sunday (noon to four at the Crocodile)? Free bruch. We heard from a friend of ours who's one of the 50 vendors that you can get a free brunch with purchase this weekend:

We will also be running a second promotion. In this promotion you need to encourage customers to spend at least $20 with you. If they do they will get a gift certificate from the Crocodile Café for a FREE BRUNCH ($15 value - while supplies last).
Why this is not mentioned on the I Heart Rummage website we don't know, but we don't think we'll have a problem spending $20 on something cute for our daughter -- if not on something swank for ourselves.

I Heart Rummage runs the first Sunday of each month at the Crocodile Cafe.

Hey, my friend Karin is going to be there hawking her wares. Say hi. She'll be the one surrounded by alt mermaid figurines. (concretelidstudio dot com)

Just a clarification:
IHR has not been taken over by Urban Craft Uprising. UCU was briefly involved in IHR when there was a transfer of ownership. But it is not entirely in the hands of Cassandra Lanning, who also happens to be a member of UCU, as well as the Seattle Craft Mafia.
There was no mention on the website of this event because we are transitioning our website. We did post it to our myspace though. www.myspace.com/iheartrummage
