Seattlest Trivia Night Recap
When we asked which Mariner hit the game winning home run on Opening Day in 1986 we felt we had come up with a question that would stump the room. However, when we saw that nearly half teams correctly answered Jim Presley we realized that we weren't the only ones to have their childhood ruined by the boys in blue and yellow.
After the shock had worn off we found ourselves with a three way tie for first place. NAMBLA's Excited that Harry Potter's Coming Out, Chairman ROFLMAO, and Fuckin' Laser Rocket Amputees had to answer the tough tie breaking question 'How old is Ryan Seacrest?' The Amps ending up correctly guessing 32, and took home first prize.
However, the biggest winner may have been Destroy All Cows, won a signed copy of published novelist Pauls Toutonghi's book (now in paperback) Red Weather. The reclusive author made a rare appearance to the delight of the trivia host.
Next week Seattlest James is all up in your face, and those of you who a thing or two about filmmaking lingo and equipment might want to make you way over to the Old Pequliar.
