Hi, it's Mike D. of this very prank. Seth: Clearly McCain has built up a bit of leeway and forgiveness because of his service in the war. That is why I would never publicly trash the guy. That doesn't mean he's not subject to a harmless prank now and then though. Before this prank, he had 2300ish MySpace friends. Now he's over 3000. That's progress baby. And by the way, I'd like to hang every person in this world without a sense of humor from their arms for a few hours. Life is too short to get angry about stuff like this.

Hey bobh Do a quick google of John Kerry's Vietnam background and John McCain stumping for Bush and smearing John Kerry before you submit ignorant posts like that. Vietnam will not help McCain ingnore the facts that his voting record has killed thousands of people in Iraq. The 2008 election is going to be about the bloody meat grinder in Iraq... not Vietnam.

Politics aside, I agree with Mike that politicians' use of MySpace is disinginuous. And really fucking lame. Leave MySpace to the people who won't be voting in any election because they need to update their profile and add more friends to their page.

Personally as a hard core Democrat I love McCain. He is the perfect Republican candidate to loose the whitehouse in 2008. 1. He is older that Bob Dole was in 96. Heck he can even out “Bob Dole” Bob Dole. 2. He is further to the right on Iraq war than George W Bush. Bush should be down in the mid to lower twenties by November 2008 and all the stumping and sucking up that McCain did for Bush in 2004 and 2000 is going to come back and bit him in the ass big time. 3. He can out “John Kerry” John Kerry. He has a long twisted voting record that can be distorted and any Vietnam war hero stuff can be ignored in favor for Iraq. In 2004 John Kerry wanted to talk about Iraq but folks attacked him over Vietnam. McCain wants to talk about Nam but Iraq is going to dominate the conversation and they can’t win.

I’m sorry Seth what bloody en-ending war based on lies are you talking about? Iraq or Nam. Cause I don’t think there even are POW camps any more in Iraq basically if our troops are captured they are pretty much either shot on site or beheaded and the video released on the net. But since John McCain is so old and he has made so many bloody votes on this war I could see how he could get confused. It is not like he threw his medals at the white house or anything crazy like that he just wants to keep out boys and girls in the crosshairs.
