Former UW (and Seattle high school) stars Brandon Roy and Nate Robinson combined for 55 points last night as the Blazers beat the Knicks 92-86. Where were you guys two years ago this week--we could've used 55 points in the Louisville game!
Nate led the way with 31 points, including 8 of 9 from beyond the arc. Those good at subtraction already know that Roy had 24 points.
There are many Knick fans who don't like Nate, and think he is a ball-hogging, overrated gimmick. We however, love the guy, for crying out loud, he's Nate Robinson—need we say more?
Meanwhile Roy, who along with this fucktard, have us switching our allegiance to the NBA team 170 miles down I-5, is on his way to the Rookie of the Year Award, barring a Sene points explosion.
Former Gonzaga standout Dan Dickau did not play (coach's decision).
In other New York/U-Dub sports news the Jets have signed Marques Tuiasosopo.
