ART: The Seattle Erotic Arts Festival is back once again to tease and titillate us with its art and workshops. There's even an auction so you can take something home a provocative keepsake. Continues Sunday.

All Day // The Fenix, 1700 1st Ave S // Various prices

IRISHNESS: What better way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than actually learning something about Irish culture? OK, green beer and overindulgence might be better, but you should save that for later in the day.

Noon-6pm // Seattle Center, 305 Harrison Street // FREE

MUSIC: This month's edition of Safari features a series of "battles," as the night's DJs fight for crowd-pleasing supremacy. The only true winners? Anyone that remembers their dancing shoes.

9pm-2am // Baltic Room, 1207 Pine // $7 Before 11pm

Here's something I stumbled on. Check out the Tip Toland clay sculpture show at Pacini Lubel in Pioneer Square. Near and beyond life-size characters that stop you in your tracks: for instance, at almost 3 feet tall, a sitting baby with a lazy eye putting red lipstick on missing its lips and grazing the cheek instead. I did a little searching and found she teaches at The Gage here in Seattle, and a NY Times review of Toland’s work described her painted clay sculptures as “comically humane and technically impressive.”
