MOVIE: 300 came out yesterday. It's a veritable orgy of violence, but it's so amazingly pretty and visceral that you find yourself drawn in rather than repulsed. The bigger the screen for your viewing, the better.

MUSIC: Fujiya & Miyagi are two British guys (three including the bassist) with a Japan obsession (hence the bandname) and a penchant for synth-laden songs that sound incredibly European without being Eurotrashy.

ROBOTS: Seattle Center plays host to a demonstration of the future of warfare as robots (at this point still controlled by humans) attempt to render one another obsolete. When the robots take over, the roles will be switched, and it'll be us fighting for their amusement. Enjoy these moments of humanity's superiority - they might not last forever.
