Drenching Rain is Coming
There's another "Pineapple Express" coming--that means heavy rain and warmth, as well as potential flooding as high-elevation rain washes newly-melted melted snow into lakes and streams. It also means that if you are a total pussy like us, you'll cancel your weekly Sunday morning trip to the zoo.
Here's how KOMO tells it:
We'll get through midday Saturday dry before that next storm arrives Saturday afternoon, bringing a steady moderate-to-heavy rain that's going to hang around a while...Rain holds through Sunday, finally tapering off Sunday evening...we'll have to keep an eye out for possible river flooding Sunday night into Monday, especially on rivers that feed off the southwestern Olympics and southern Cascades.
We rapidly dry off and cool down Sunday night, although some lingering showers are still likely. Lows Sunday night will drop down to the mid 40s.
