Get the Kids Out This Weekend

SATURDAY: Rock out with local kid's band Recess Monkey benefit concert at the EMP. While enjoying the goofy tunes and antics of these three Seattle teachers, you'll be helping out Kyle Roger, a local boy fighting brain cancer.

12pm // Experience Music Project // All Ages // $5 donation

SUNDAY: Setting the clocks forward Sunday might get you in a springtime mood, but the frosty wrap-up of the Second Annual Polar Science Weekend is still worth a visit. The University of Washington's Polar Science Center has teamed up with Pacific Science Center to present four days of demonstrations, talks, and exhibits about life on the ice.

10am - 6pm // Pacific Science Center // All Ages // Free with museum admission: $10 adults; $7 kids 3-12; Free for members and children under 3

FUTURE PLANS: Whirligig 2007 is almost here. We aren't sure how we feel about the "roaming clowns," but we like to bounce, bounce, bounce. Go before spring break turns this into an inflated madhouse.

March 22 - April 15 // Seattle Center // All Ages // $7 unlimited day-use pass, $4 toddler pass, $1.50 single use ticket, Free Thursdays
