Cerveza Covert Ops at Jalisco's
We didn't think ordering a Sol for our pre-Thunderbirds-game drink would buy us the confidence of our Jalisco's bartender, but it did, and just after he'd handed us the bottle.
"Sol," he intoned--reverently--in a soft, Spanish-accented voice. "That's my favorite too.
"If you offered me a case of Corona or one Sol," he added, "I would take the Sol."
Then he leaned across the bar, put his hand to the side of his mouth, as if covering his lips from potential cerveza spies, and said, "In Mexico, we never drink Corona."
Sol, which is roughly the color of your piss on a hot day, is sold at Jalisco's and La Carta de Oaxaca. Corona is available where these chicks party.
