Drunk Puppet Night

PUPPETS: Puppets are cute when you're a kid, but when you get older they're a bit creepy. Creepy though they may be, Drunk Puppet Night removes the kid context and serves up "mature" puppetry, which may or may not involve tales about puppets trying to make rent. Continues March 2, 3, 9, 10.

Doors 7pm, show 8pm // Rebar, 1114 Howell @ Boren // $15

MUSIC: Buttrock Suites sets modern dance to live renditions of buttrock classics. We haven't seen it, but it sounds nothing short of brilliant. If this isn't a sign that the death of irony was prematurely reported, we don't know what is.

8pm // Neumos, 925 E Pike St. // $15

INTERNET: We know we're not the only ones that spend part of our day surfing the 'net, trading YouTube videos with other cubicle jockeys over instant messenger. Now NWFF is convincing people to pay money to have that same experience. Genius.

11pm // Northwest Film Forum, 151 12th Ave // $8.50

DANCE: If you've ever thought about getting dance lessons or wanted to get your salsa on, Century Ballroom has been there to hook you up. They're celebrating their anniversary, with 5 bands to keep things moving.

9pm // Century Ballroom, 915 E Pine St // $5
