Math and Physics Club in their awesome, family-friendly glory.

MUSIC: In a case of perfect billing, Math and Physics Club are taking a break from puppy petting and hand-holding to sing some songs for the kids as part of Town Hall's Saturday morning concert series.

11am & 1:30pm // Town Hall, 1119 Eighth Avenue (at Seneca Street) // Free for kids 12 and under, $5 for adults - adults must be accompanied by a child

COMICS: Gabrielle Bell, Kevin Huizenga, and Anders Nilsen of Drawn & Quarterly and Fantagraphics stop in Seattle on their tour to present a slide show of their work, answer questions and sign their latest releases.

PARTY: We don't know Ian (username Iisei), but they're celebrating their 30th birthday at Jillian's and want to be sure all their "peoples" come to help them celebrate. They're promising free pool! Tell them Seattlest sent you!

MUSIC: Ignore the hype over dubstep, the woozy, ominous, bass-driven genre coming out of the UK and come see Various because the group is poised to explode after releasing The World Is Gone, and Seattle is lucky enough to host their stateside debut.
