Seattle U charges HOW much per credit? If "Media" includes the printed word then it sounds like an interesting experiment (let's hear it for sensory deprivation). If the only things cut out of the day are visual or aural based what does that prove? Humankind is and always has been a visually and aurally driven entity (notwithstanding Gutenberg and all that). If the newest wave of the ongoing Electronic Age happens to be "less reading and more seeing and hearing" then So What? I say, for the money it costs for a class at SU they could at least throw in a few hours in a sensory deprivation tank.
