Mt. Rainier Is Gorgeous Today

We guess because it rained for a couple of days, the air between here and Rainier is particulate-free, and as we saw the mountain while driving down I-5 this morning, it seemed like we could make out every snowflake.

No one in Seattle is more than five minutes away from a clear view of Rainier--should the skies stay clear, make a point of it on your lunch break. You won't be disappointed.

Had I brought my camera, you surely would have seen me dodging traffic on I-5 to get a pic from the middle lanes.
