Yeah, 56 bucks to see Neko is WAY more than my tolerance level for high priced shows go. I have a feeling it isn't gonna sell out at that price. 56 bucks isn't very "punk"

if you go back through of montreal's early catalog, you'll find bouncy, lo-fi, twee-pop. it's only the last couple of years that kevin has added the glam aspect. whether or not that has something to do with their rise in popularity is an interesting question. i would definitely be seeing neko sunday night if tix weren't $50. i'm sure merle puts on a great show, but not at that price. i think it's a crime that neko is following this with a solo tour (with eric bachmann opening) that hits vancouver, bellingham, and portland - no seattle date.

with the exception of the girl in search of mancandy, it looks like craigslist is all people trying to buy tickets to of Montreal. is the crime against music that Neko Case tickets are going for well over $50?
