    I've been to a few places in the so-called 3rd world where that kind of theft is pretty much endemic. People pull wires right out of the walls. Companies have to pay people to guard empty buildings.



    But "Copper Theft" would make a great band name.

    When I first heard about the copper theivery going on around here, I assumed someone got the idea from The Wire. Bubbles had some great raw material gathering scams.
