Our Corner of the Interstate System, If Roads Were Subway Routes

nwinterstate.jpg
We may not have decent public transit, but we can look like we have decent public transit -- at least if we want to get to San Francisco.

This is the northwest corner of Chris Yates' rendering of the Eisenhower Interstate System (Simplified) -- in this case, resembling a subway map. Accurate distance is out the window, but aesthetic pleasure has been amped up to compensate.

Hat tip to BoingBoing.

I hate how you have to go up two flights of stairs to get to the 94 platform at the Butte station.
