An iPod and A Washing Machine: A Two-Part Tale of Woe Joy

Hello, gorgeous.

When last we tried to resuscitate our iPod after an accidental ride through the washing machine, connecting it to our powerbook led to the display of "Please wait, very low battery power." And we waited. And waited...all day. OK, so that wasn't working. Consulting Apple's support section online, we discovered that if the battery gets fully drained (likely in this case), it may not come back up when connected to a USB power source like a Mac. So into the wall charger it went, and voila!

All our music was there. Old playlists intact. The only apparent downside was the buttons seemed a bit sluggish, but a few days later that has subsided for all but one of the buttons (menu).

Our training rides will now officially suck less again.
