Steve Nash Knows, and Gilbert Arenas Will Soon Learn the Power of Brandon Roy
Brandon Roy, the reigning Western Conference Rookie of the Month, is on a roll and slowly making the NBA his own personal league. Don't think that a certain two-time NBA MVP/Victoria, B.C. native hasn't noticed.
Canadia's own Steve Nash will miss tonight's Blazers vs Suns game with what doctors are calling an aggravated right shoulder, but with what we are calling a pulled ovary.
When we posed this theory to our official Seattlest Steve Nash expert she replied, "Did you see my man in his new commercial for shoes? He is so hot. Jesus, please us!!"
Choosing to hide behind Nash's pure animal attraction rather than confront the fact of the matter only convinced us more. Steve Nash is ducking Brandon Roy.
Following tonight's dismantling of the Suns, the Blazers will face Adam Morrison's Bobcats before squaring off against Gilbert Arenas on Sunday. The Wizards guard has assured the world that he will light up Portland for 50 points as payback for his 2006 FIBA World Championship team snub. Nate McMillian was an assistant coach for that team, and Arenas blames Mac 10, among others, for being left off the squad.
Do not worry fellow Northwest basketball fans, Brandon Roy will not let Gilbert Arenas score 50 points. Seattlest guarantees it, and by doing so we stand by our favorite NBA player. We only wonder if the city's only blog will stand by theirs.
