Strangers in the Alps: 1/30 Trivia Wrapup

rocketarms.jpg25 teams! Free ashtrays for the taking! Controversy about whether or not Bangor is a "city" or just part of Bremerton! And a geeky white boy dance-off to close the evening!

Yes, last night's Seattlest trivia at the Old Pequilar was, again, a madhouse -- the fun and exciting kind of madhouse. Our friend Brannon fulfilled a lifelong dream of writing a trivia quiz and making his friend read all the questions -- and a mighty fine quiz it was. He and Courtney were invaluable help in tabulation, or the whole thing would've gone even later than 10:15.

Inside-Out Underpants, this week's fourth-place team, chose Science Fiction Authors as a round topic for next week. We swear we'll try to make this playable for non-cardholding-Science Fiction Museum-members in the audience, but you'll probably have an edge if you have strong feelings about "SF" versus "sci fi."

Here are the final standings:

1) Laser Rocket Arms, 68 -- $175!
2) The Fuckin' As, 66 -- $50!
3) (tiebreaker) Faust -- $25! -- and Inside-Out Underpants -- picked a topic for next week!, 65
5) Sloppy Cronkite, 61
6) NAMBLA Loves 12-Year-Old Scotch, 60
7) Milk and Cereal, 58
8) (tie) Chu-Chu Rocket and Extra Stuff for 25 Cents, 55
10) (tie) Jazzercize and Troy's Bucket, 53
12) (tie) Hyundai and Honda and Team Hemoglobin, 52
14) (tie) Burning Sensation, Kicking Ass and Taking Names, and Smoking Kools, 51

21) This Is Fucking Tragic, 45
22) (tie) A Bunch of Fucking Amateurs and Thaiku Hookers, 44
24) Kwyjibo, 43 -- swag!
25) Free Scooter, 40 -- left without the swag!

The complete quiz is after the jump.
