Real Lawsuit Over Fake Viaduct Vote

sue.gifOn Tuesday monorail advocate Peter Sherwin filed suit against March's advisory vote on the Viaduct. He claims that there really isn't enough information about the tunnel, and no one has really signed off on the option.

We understand where he is coming from because the 'tunnel lite' was essentially crapped out by Tim Ceis on a napkin in about a week, so they would have something to show the public.

This whole vote is kind of like when your friends are fighting, and they ask you who think is right. If you side with them you're a genius, if you're against them you're a moron. Except in this case one of your friends is an incompetent City Council and the other is a bunch of state leaders.

You know what, let's just move to Portland where eight people live and they have so much public transportation they're spending money on things like giant ski lifts.

Maybe we should build a ski lift from the UW to downtown. It would be a great way to get over the I-5 mess of traffic, and we could just laugh at all the people below us.
