Get Out

BASKETBALL: It's a battle for first place in Kingco's Mountain Division when Roosevelt hosts Redmond.
7:30pm // Roosevelt High Gym (it's new!) [1410 Northeast 66th Street] // $6 ($4 with your ASB card)!

SCIENCE: Spencer Wells, the Indiana Jones of DNA, tells you from whence you came.
7:30pm // Benaroya Hall's Taper Auditorium [3rd and Union] // Sold out, but maybe you can score some at the door?

MUSIC: Johanna Sarad [myspace] and Hardison [myspace]. Bay Area transplant Sarad plays "sweet, introspective" folk with an "edge." Hardison will be playing new stuff --he's recording a new album of gumbo-grunge stylings with his band this spring.
10:30pm // The Rendezvous' Jewel Box [2322 2nd Ave] // $5 at the door (21+)

MUSIC: Jacob London is known most widely for their house music releases (they've put out material on the legendary Classic Music Company label), but tonight they'll be exploring their more techno-oriented output with a live set. We don't know if that makes it more or less likely that they'll bring their microphone monkey, but expect quality music with a lot of quirky turns.
10:00 pm // The Baltic Room [$6 (21+)

TRIVIA: Seattlest James hosts. Guaranteed category: The Big Lebowski
8:00pm (arrive early to get a seat) // Old Pequliar [1722 NW Market] // $5 to play
