Oooh, Baby, Baby, Where Did The Works Go?

clockworks.jpgWhen John Moe let us know he was leaving KUOW, our first question was, "What about The Works?"

We've finally pieced together an answer: It's now a segment on The Beat, hosted by Glenn Fleischman, who says on his blog, "I'll be talking about technology as a guest of host Megan Sukys every Wednesday at 2.07 pm for 12 1/2 minutes on KUOW-FM's The Beat starting Jan. 24."

We figured this out backwards, by visiting The Works' URL on KUOW. The middle of the page calls it "The Works with Glenn Fleischman," but the sidebars and other information are all Beat-centric.

What's on KUOW at 8pm on Tuesdays now? American Public Media's Word for Word.

Damn. We were hoping they'd bring Radio Lab back into regular rotation. We got addicted when they tried it out in This American Life's Friday evening slot for a couple of months, and were sorry to see it go.

I'm sorry to see Radio Lab go too. LOVE that show.

Hi Everyone,

We really like Radio Lab too! It is a limited series. 10 new episodes will be produced this year. I'm not sure yet when we will air them.
