Right and I am still waiting for that Neuromancer movie that was supposed to be out in 1986. Here is hoping that it does not suck as bad as the SiFi channel totally unwatchable Dune miniseries. I love Neil Stephenson and think the Diamond Age was a masterpiece.

I find it ironic that it comes to this for me to finally get a Tivo. (I know, I know!) Also: the Village Voice comparing him to Tarantino? I'm not even sure what that comparison actually means, all I know is it is an insult to Neal Stephenson, who was central to creating a whole new literary genre while Tarantino was busy ripping off Jim Jarmusch.
