Get Out
CELEBRATE MLK: Take a few minutes out of the day to check out HistoryLink's accounting of Martin Luther King Jr.'s one visit to Seattle and then head to Seattle Center for some of their events. The East West Bookshop on Roosevelt also has a "concert and program of tribute" from 7:30pm-8:30pm
10am-5pm // Seattle Center
MUSIC: A bunch of local alt-country types are playing at the Tractor tonight and we've had multiple people recommend this show to us. Headliner and local-type Conrad Ford has some decent stuff up at MySpace and recently ex-local-type Keli Hanson is also playing.
TELEVISION: Anthony Bourdain's exploration of the Pacific Northwest's culinary scene airs tonight on the Travel Channel at 10pm. We talked to a Honey Hole bartender who served him and his crew when they were here filming the show in June and the guy said Bourdain had about five Fish Tail IPAs in an hour and a half. Should make for good TV.
