Get Out

THEATER: You have only five more chances to catch WET’s latest offering, In Disdress Now: Redux. Marya Sea Kaminski’s one-woman show was originally developed as as part of On the Boards' Northwest New Works Festival in June 2006. Now the “story of a girl wrestling meaning out of love, porn, and the folds of an enormous red hoop dress” has been expanded into a full-fledged tour de force.

8pm // Washington Ensemble Theatre // 608 19th Ave E // $15

FILM: At long last, one of the best films of 2006 is opening in Seattle. A child's fairy tale rooted in the harsh realities of Fascist Spain, Pan’s Labyrinth is such a strong, visually sumptuous work that only the dimmest, most cynical of individuals would be able to resist all the heart and soul Guillermo del Toro has so brilliantly made manifest.

4:15pm, 7pm, 9:45pm // Harvard Exit // $9.75

MUSIC: If the only thing stopping you from really digging AC/DC was the fact they were hideously ugly, fear not: the lovely ladies of Hell's Belles will put Angus Young's knobby knees far from your mind.

9pm // Neumo’s // $10, 21+

SATIRE: You’ve already pored over the filthy transcript, but now bear witness to the 2004 sexual harassment complaint Andrea Mackris filed against Bill O’Reilly translated into musical form. To wit: “Composer Igor Keller has produced this 31-part, concert-length work in the form of a baroque oratorio, in the style of an updated Handel’s Messiah, for 28-piece chamber orchestra, 26-voice chorus and three soloists.” Post-post-modernism at its finest.

7:30pm // UW Campus, Meany Hall // $10adv/$12dos

HIGH-SCHOOL BASKETBALL: It's like a mini state championship tourney tonight in the Metro League. Deep in West Seattle, #4-ranked Chief Sealth hosts #1-ranked Rainier Beach. Emeka Iweka and Reggie Rogers battling--a future Husky defensive tackle against the son of a former Husky defensive tackle. There could be some Richter scale triggering action in the paint.

On First Hill, #3-ranked O'Dea hosts #2-ranked Bainbridge. Two of the best guards in the state face off in this one--ASU-bound Jamelle "Son of Nate" Mcmillan of O'Dea and Gonzaga-bound Steven Gray of Bainbridge.

Beach at Sealth // 8pm // Chief Sealth High // 2600 SW Thistle St. // $6

Bainbridge at O'Dea // 7:30pm // O'Dea High // 802 Terry Avenue, at Columbia St. // $6
