Outhouses must measure at least 2.5 feet on a side and rise to a minimum height of five feet. The structures run over hard-packed snow on non-metallic skis.
Located east of Mazama/Winthrop, the town's 24th annual outhouse races begin at noon Saturday, Jan. 13 on Main Street. Entry fee is $25, poop chutes optional.
