the inconsistency of the Zags has been maddening. they showed so much promise at the beginning of the year, but in the past 4 games they've looked absolutely terrible. while the losses sting, i'm glad the zags challenged themselves. we'll see if they can pull it back together.

We're definitely struggling. We started fast, but teams are now aware that if they stop Raivio we're totally reliant on Heytfelt, who is a total head case right now. And our D is the same as it ever was - terrible.

I think it's pretty clear. They're ummmm...just not very good. They'e not particularly young either. The Huskies can at least make the excuse that the only upperclassmen are Apples and a walk-on. I like the Zag's much better when their fans aren't quite so full of themselves. I think this season might just do the trick.

This isn't testimony before the Senate, so "is" refers to the present state of "to be," not the March state of "to be." Right now, if you had to pick a team from Washington to take off your schedule, it would be WSU. As for Gonzaga, I gotta hand it to Raivio. He's going to be a great point guard when he's had some more college experience.

Last night was indeed ugly and 4 in a row is tough to swollow. Wait until March before declaring anyone the best in state.
