MUSIC: Kled, with a lineup that boasts some of our favorite band names in town, including A Gun that Shoots Knives and We Wrote the Book on Connectors.
9pm // the High Dive // $5
NERDS: Flashback to your middle school days of trying to talk to girls and spending too much time in the bathroom with the JC Penney catalog (you know, the phone-book-size one with all the super hot 18-hour bras) as Wing-It Productions presents Wallflowers 7th Grade.
8pm // Historic University Theatre // $10 ($8 for students/seniors). All ages.
BASKETBALL JONES: Arizona at UW. Last year's game was a double-overtime classic as Arizona squeaked by the Huskies for a final score of 96-95. If you can't make it in person, call up your favorite dives and see if they'll have it on the tube (FSN).
7:30pm // Hec Edmundson Pavilion // SOLD OUT (moderate to the obscene available via Craig's List)
SCHLOCK CELEBRATION: Showgirls! The Movie is at the Triple Door. The Stranger's David Schmader lovingly reintroduces "Verhoeven’s failure to a generation of filmgoers as the most inadvertent, surreally hilarious comedy in film history." Surreally, MGM invited Schmader to record his commentary for their 2003 "special edition" of the "movie."
7:30pm // the Triple Door // tickets $15, ages 17+
