Get Out

No, this isn't the Seattle store, but that storefront is great.SEX: Sex-positive retailer Babeland closes out 2006 with their annual three day sale, with even some of their most popular toys marked down 25%. Let's face it, the other gifts you may have received this holiday season won't provide the long-term satisfaction something you pick up here will.

11am-10pm (also Noon-7pm Sunday and 11am-10pm Monday) // 707 E Pike St. // 25% off whatever pleasing your bits and pieces is worth

MUSIC: As hard as it is to believe, there are still people that have yet to see MassLine's biggest acts, Blue Scholars and Common Market. That's just a damn shame, and Neumos this weekend is where you get an opportunity to kill two performance birds with one stone, with a live backing band to boot.

8pm doors // Neumos, 925 E Pike St. // $15 adv. // All-ages

MOVIE: Rather than doing anything bar or club-related, it's more likely that you'll be saving your energy for Sunday night. Fair enough, but you should at least get out to see a movie or something equally low-key. The Egyptian is playing Serenity, a Joss Whedon film based in the universe of cancelled TV series Firefly. It features Whedon's knack for dialogue and some decent action, making it great midnight movie fare.
