Get Out

TRIVIA: By popular demand, there's Seattlest trivia tonight, just one day after we all celebrated the birth of the Lord.

8pm / Old Pequliar Tavern [1722 NW Market St, Ballard] / $5 per team

BASKETBALL: Seattlest Seth and David will be watching their alma mater dear in the only high-school basketball game of the night. Garfield goes to Shorewood. Garfield's led by super soph Aaron Dotson, here's what Scout.com says about him:

He is an explosive leaper, which he puts to good effect any time he gets near the basket. He’s also a very accurate shooter from 17-19 feet. He’s a bit mature-looking for a sophomore, but he’s got a high upside. Ball skills need to improve for him to play on the wing at a high level. A potentially very good prospect down the road.

7:30pm // Shorewood High School [17300 Fremont Avenue North, Shoreline] // $6

MUSIC: The lineup for Jazz Alley's New Year's Eve Celebration is doing four shows leading up to the big night, with the first tonight. It's billed as a holiday jam--headliner is vocalist Niki Haris [windows media], daughter of longtime Ray Brown collaborator Gene Harris (no idea where the other "r" went). Also performing: Kevin Mahogany, The Tony Monaco Trio, and Red Holloway.

7:30pm // Jazz Alley [6th Avenue and Lenora Street, Belltown] // $24.50 - $130.50
