Get Out

Its Christmas Eve and the pickens are slim. Here are some random things around town tonight that look potentially do-able:

MUSIC: Punk, Pabst and Porn with DJs 23rd Hour and Nils Forever. This is mostly because we love the Juju, their deals are usually no cover and this doesnt look too holidays-ish.

9 p.m. // Bad Juju // Free

MUSIC: The Suffering Fuckheads Xmas Eve Party. No clue if this is worth recommending or not, but we just like the name. Plus its only five bucks and its hard not to have a good time at the Sunset.

9 p.m. // Sunset Tavern // $5

COMICS: Port Orchard cartoonist Pat Moriarity posted this goofy, crude animated short on his myspace page - the bizarre way he structured it is the most hilarious thing about it - and Seattle cartoonist Dave Lasky just published this barely legible comic about polar bears in the Chicago Reader. Okay so none of this is really in line with the whole "Get Out" thing but its Christmas Eve for Christ's sake. The only thing worth doing is driving a hundred and twenty miles an hour down an empty I-5 or playing football in the rain with the homeless on a deserted and desolate Broadway (nobody on staff at Seattlest has actually ever done either).

That polar bear comic is actually pretty readable on my computer around 80% size. Any smaller then it's too tiny, but any bigger than that, the text is pretty unclear and has lots of artifacts.
