Those hoping to win their way into some extra holiday shopping money must have pounded their heads against a table when they saw Husker Don't enter the Old Pequliar last night.
Once again the Huskers took home the first place title, and the $135 that went with it, by blowing away the other twenty teams. Dick in a Bag finished second, and were so excited that they ran out into the night before they could collect their $55. Oh well, Dick in a Bag's loss in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's gain.
Other highlights of the night included a very confusing picture round, more questions about fashion houses than baseball, a kick-ass Jimmy Stewart impression, Sunny Kobe Cook finally getting the respect she deserves, and Seattlest David's realization that he is stuck with 500 'I'm a Josh Girl' t-shirts.
Don't let Boxing Day Festivities keep you away next Tuesday when Seattlest James hosts.

Friendly Folk-Pop for the Kids: Hey Marseilles at Vera This Saturday

I just wanted to pass on a suggestion. I've only been to the Old Peculiar for trivia once, but we did win that time as Those Crazy Sultans. Normally, we're at the George and Dragon under another name. But I read Seattlest religiously, and I always do your quiz online. Can you put the answers after *all* of the questions like you used to. I can't seem to print it out without glancing at at least a few answers.
D.: Consider it done.
Apparently we can't please everyone.
