Windy Wind Coming Tonight

cctv513.jpgThe strongest windstorm since the 1993 Inauguration Day storm that sunk I-90 killed six people is coming.

KOMO weather is leaning toward (scroll down for their "storm play-by-play") the storm hitting after the Hawks game is over. But then we get very strong winds (gusts up to 60mph) and a shitload of rain (2-4 inches). Plus they'd shut down 520. If we were going to the Hawks game, we'd get a hotel.

Here's the official word on 520:

SR 520 -Crews will likely close the SR 520 bridge at 11 p.m. tonight due to forecasted high winds. We may need to close the bridge as early as 9 p.m. if conditions warrant. Crews are closely monitoring the bridge, weather conditions, and weather forecasts. The bridge will reopen to traffic when winds are calm again. This could be as late as noon on Friday December 15.

If you have a backyard, tie your crap down or bring it inside. We don't want your patio furniture impaling our car. And if you have a car, might want to avoid parking it near any sickly trees.
