Photographing Harbor Island at Night

These pictures have a distinct "Usual Suspects" air about them, like something's about to happen and it's going to involve automatic weapons fire and European accents with a few mutants or extraterrestrials on the side.

Harbor Island probably isn't really as exciting as all that.

It's probably just a couple of guys from Shanghai drinking coffee, smoking a million cigarettes and walking around, which is still oddly compelling when you put it in the context of these photographs.
