Paint the Town Brown, Again

f120402A.jpgJosh Brown is a strong Christian, so he may be uncomfortable with what we are about to say, however, we've been screaming it for hours, so why stop now?

We love you Josh Brown.

Josh Brown, we want to hold you in our arms. We want to fly with you on the back of a unicorn to a far off castle in the clouds, where we can to live together and have babies.

Unfortunately I am not alone in my love for Brown, most everyone from here to South King County and beyond is praising Brown for once again booting the team to victory, this time from 50 yards out.

Can anyone name a Seahawk who is having a better year?

Last night Brown's fourth game winning field goal of the season gave the Hawks a 23-20 win, and their first win in Denver since 1995 (when were declaring out undying love for Edgar Martinez and any girl in third period English who accidentally made eye contact with us).

The win kept the team in a tie for the second best record in the NFC, and with a Sunday win in Arizona and a San Francisco loss will clinch a playoff spot for the (wow!) fourth straight season.

It was also the second game of the season that the Hawks seemingly had the game wrapped up, only to give up an instant, and very long touchdown. On both occasions Brown ended up kicking the game winner.

Sure, he missed a few in the first half, but right now who cares? One could dwell on Holmgren's continuing clock management issues, or possible injuries to Mack Strong and Matt Hasselbeck, but why?

Right now, just enjoy that without Steve Hutchinson, with all the injuries, with those sleep walking losses, with all of that, the team won in Denver last night, is about to wrap up a playoff spot, and is in a great position for a first round bye.

All of that and a chance to live happily ever after with Josh Brown as our prince.
