The Weather Story

Listening to Paul Tosch, the KOMO copter guy, who reports that I-5 between Marysville and Thurston County is mostly dry, and the bridges are free of ice. But the side streets and overpasses and underpasses are still icy, so be careful there.

Ice that was in today's sun melted. But once the temperature drops it will form back into ice, so if you live on an icy street, you might could want to get home before it gets cold.

Meanwhile, Steve Pool says "I've never, ever seen anything like" last night. And since he's basically Highlander, as far as we can tell, that's impressive. Meanwhile, he says, we "likely will" have anywhere between 2-6 inches on Wednesday night and Thursday.

Also, the temperatures will be in the teens, so if you're reading this at a library, get thee to the shelters--City Hall is open, as is the Rainier Room at Seattle Center.
