Despite Doubters Rainfall Record Falls

61-2.jpgYesterday we heard KING 5 meteorologist Rich Marriott say that although this month’s rainfall would continue to break several records, we probably wouldn’t break the big one of most rainfall in a month.

Well Rich, guess who was wrong, wrong, wrong? You.

Following yesterday’s storms, which we got in between the sunny periods of the day, we collected enough rainfall at Sea-Tac to reach 13.11 inches for the month, surpassing the previous record of 12.92 inches set way back in January 1953.

Rich, if it weren’t for the city’s meter maids, you would be the most wrongest person in the whole wide city.

We should point out that may have been referring to the City of Seattle record, which is based on rainwater collected at the Federal Building. We are still a couple inches behind that record of 15.33 inches from February 1933.

Oh, and we really weren’t paying attention to the television, so we might have made up that whole thing about him saying we probably wouldn’t break the record.

So, uhhh, in fact, uh, Rich Marriott may not be wrong at all, we might be.

However, the city’s meter maids are still complete morons.

More rain is expected this weekend.
