Worst Flooding in a Decade

KOMO, which has the best weather page in the city, has the rundown on today's storm:

In brief:
--They expect the worst flooding since 1995
--We could get as much as 6 inches of rain today. We normally get 6 inches in all of November. The one day record (October 2003) is 5.0".
--The snow level is 10,000 feet, so it's all rain up in the mountains right now. Very dangerous flooding conditions.
--This could affect in-city residents, too. Back in 1995, nearby residents had to sandbag Thornton Creek. This much rain can soak through anything, so make sure your downspouts are connected.
--This storm won't leave until late tonight, and with a Seahawks game today at 5:30, traffic will be a major bitch.

Good luck staying high and dry. I hope flooding is not too big of a problem for you.

This is Steve Pool's doing. Both the "best weather page" and the shitty weather. Ask Steve.

Why does the rain hate our freedom?
