Ex-Mariners of the Month
With the playoffs underway we thought it would be fun to look at all of the former Mariners you may come accross
DODGERS
Derek Lowe—Last year he went through a very public divorce after it was revealed that he was having an affair with Carolyn Hughes, a reporter for the Dodger’s pre-game show. The name of the program: ‘Dodger Insider.’
Giovanni Carrara -- “I’m-a gonna strike-a you out Delgado.”
Aaron Sele—Quick note to the Dodgers coaches, if you play the Yankees in the post season don't let Sele pitch.
Brett Tomko—Won seven games for our favorite Mariners team.
CARDNAILS
Scott Spiezio—Heckuva a signing there Bavasi.
PADRES
Mike Cameron— His face may be smashed in, but we still love Cammy.
TIGERS
Carlos Gullien—If trades were Presidents then Gullien for Ramon Santiago would be a more incompetent version of George W.
Ramon Santiago— See above.
YANKEES
Randy Johnson—To all those who scoffed at the Mariners for getting rid of Randy because of a possible bad back, well who is laughing now?
Mike Meyers— The Delaware of the ex-Mariners on this list.
Ron Vilone—How bad were the 2004 Mariners? This reliever led the team in victories with seven.
Alex Rodriguez—I live for A-Rod choking in the postseason, you live for A-Rod choking in the postseason, the whole world lives A-Rod choking in the postseason
A's
Antonio Perez—Although he never actually played for the big league club, he is the third of the four players the Mariners got for Griffey who are playing in the post season. The fourth player, Jake Meyer, is out of baseball.
Hiram Bocachica— Blame this spy for the Mariners 2-400 record verses the A’s this season.
The means that the Mets and Twins are the only teams in the playoffs without an ex-Mariner, making that our pick for the 2006 World Series of Poker of Baseball.
