As unlikely as it may seem, it is the truth. Qingzhao Su of Guiyang, China
dreamt about the Two Gallants and Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles show at The Crocodile yesterday.

Although she speaks no English and had never heard of Seattle, Two Gallants, or Langhorne Slim, in her dream she knew exactly where she was and knew the lyrics to all of the songs. She could hear their funny accents and thought in her head that they sang like the Kings Of Leon guy. She noticed that Langhorne Slim danced around the stage like a wild man and knocked down monitors and microphones while strapped to an acoustic guitar. This struck her as a funny combination, but she didn’t know why. Most disturbing to her were the many faces he made at the audience while singing. He made frightening, grimacing faces while he sang like he had just eaten a lemon.
After the set, she saw herself talking to a girl from Seattle who loved Langhorne and the show he played. Then she saw herself at the bar talking to a girl from New York who said that he was "contrite" in such a way that Qingzhao thought it was her job to insult others.
Soon after, Two Gallants began to play with a tremendous sound for a two-person band. The Seattle girl said that they must use a very low tuned bass string on the guitar to get such a full sound. That is the only way they could get their music to sound like they had a bass player. Besides the full sound, Qingzhao noticed that the lead singer of Two Gallants made very jerky movements as if he were an animatronic robot. This was very funny to her.
While being very puzzled by the dream and apparent out-of-body experience, she enjoyed herself a great deal. It was very pleasing to her that there was so much passion for music in the world and hopes that someday she herself can visit Seattle and listen to such energetic music.

Sounds like a nice Psychic dream. My wife has those occassionally.
wow, it's almost pretentious enough to be a pitchfork review! on the downside, you did spend 4-5 lines actually mentioning how the bands sounded.
i like how Qingzhao's pillow has a arm.
