Aural Pleasures (9/12 - 9/18)

A little something for everyone. Consider next Monday's show the icing on the delicious music-y cake.
Tuesday 12th
>>> Sarathan Records Showcase w/The Purrs, Two Loons for Tea, Christopher Blue, Shane Bartell at Neumo's. Local label Sarathan Records is going to show off some of the bands on their roster. They've got great t-shirt designs, so the merch is top-notch.
8pm; $5. 21+
>>> Jeff Lang at Tractor Tavern. A blues guitar master from Australia.
8 pm; $8
>>> Cold War Kids and Dr. Dog at the Croc. Come for the soulful rock of Cali's Cold War Kids, stay for the heavy Beatles influence of Philly's Dr. Dog.
8pm doors; $10 advance/$12 day of show
Thursday 14th
>>> Favourite Sons at Chop Suey. Recently signed to VICE Records, this is the band's first trip to the West Coast. Give em a listen. If you like, you go. It's science.
9pm doors; $8adv
>>> Decibel Festival at Various Capitol Hill Venues. This music festival, now in its third edition, is helping to solidify Seattle's position on the electronic music map. Whether you're a novice or a regular club-goer, Decibel is where you should be this weekend. (Sept. 14th - 18th)
Check Website for times, prices, and age limitations (most events 21+).
>>> Kelly Joe Phelps at Tractor Tavern. A very pretty man singing very sensitive singer/songwriterly songs.
8pm; $20 adv, $23 dos
Friday 15th
>>> Ratatat at El Corazon. Just a couple guys, a guitar, some synth and keyboards, drums, and a shit-ton of samples.

9pm doors; $15
Saturday 16th

Sunday 17th
