Moe Better Book Tour
We successfully navigated the B-word over the weekend without seeing John Moe do his McSweeney's dance, which is not very neighborly of us. It's something we would love to see and hopefully he performs again sometime soon, although that seems unlikely because he's got this whole book thing going on as well.
It looks like he will be making the rounds in October promoting the book, though, that should launch him into Partly Cloudy Patriot / Areas of My Expertise type fame, or, ok, not fame really, but notoriety above and beyond Seattle as being that guy who wrote the Conservatize Me book and got reamed on like a thousand cable news shows for it. Colbert will have him on and do that interview where he "grills" the librul that's actually a big lovefest and Moe'll be seen around town with Susan Sarandon. It should be fun for everyone, except for, like, Mrs. Moe. Anyway, we can't wait to read the book and display it prominently on the eye level shelf during dinner parties.
