Join Seattlest at High School Football Games

Shakespeare, maybe? We don't know. Anyway, it's true.

But it's difficult to just invite someone tag along to a big city pro or college sporting event. There's the matter of getting tickets in the same row, or of being able to afford tickets in the first place.

These barriers do not exist for high school sports. Seating is always of the festival variety, and tickets--well, if you could afford to go in high school, you can afford to go now. Tix are usually around $6.

So join us this year, as we travel about the area to watch young footballists. We've created a public Google calendar: High School Sports with Seattlest, so you can see where we're going to be.

Our first game is this Thursday: Kennedy vs. Lincoln (Tacoma) in Burien. See the calendar for more details.

Games two and three are at this weekend's Emerald City Kickoff Classic at Qwest Field. We'll be at the 5:30pm and 8pm games. Again, see the calendar for details.

For identification purposes, Seth will wear his World-Cup-Tested "Git 'Er Done" hat at all games.
