New Sonics owner Clayton Bennett isn't interested in a renovated Key Arena, and the developer of a possible site in Renton says they're building retail, not a sports complex, on their land.
So it's up to the city (suburb?) of Bellevue to keep the Sonics (and Storm) near Puget Sound.
Kemper Freeman, Jr., a Bellevue developer, has said he thinks there's enough interest in keeping the Sonics to get a privately-funded arena built.
Help us, Bellevue. You're our only hope.

Tuesdays are Muppet Days
